We are seeking dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Per Diem / PRN opportunities in Abilene, TX.
This position is ideal for CNAs who want flexible scheduling, the ability to pick up available shifts, and the freedom to work around their personal schedule. Per Diem CNAs may choose shifts based on facility needs and their own availability.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and safe patient care.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with feeding, meals, and hydration as needed.
- Assist patients with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility.
- Take and document vital signs and patient observations accurately.
- Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse or supervisor.
- Respond to patient call lights and requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.
- Accurately document patient care and services provided.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Complete required training and competency requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- CNA Acute care experience
- Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow care plans, instructions, and facility policies.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely assist with patient mobility and transfers.
- Must be dependable and able to accept scheduled Per Diem/PRN shifts.
Pay: $13.00 per hour
