Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
- Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions swiftly while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and register operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by following proper sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery of food and attentive service to all guests.
- Assist in food safety management by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating your ability to thrive in high-energy environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus, along with basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Prior culinary or food service experience is beneficial, especially if you have worked in cafes or restaurants with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong time management skills are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining sanitation standards will help ensure smooth daily operations.
- A background in retail sales transactions or cashiering roles can be advantageous for managing cash register operations confidently.
