Position Description:
About the Role
DACUT Cannabis is seeking a detail-oriented Post-Harvest Inventory Specialist to manage inventory throughout the post-harvest process. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records as harvested cannabis moves through drying, curing, bucking, trimming, packaging, and transfers into production and finished goods inventory.
This position plays a critical role in inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency while partnering closely with Post-Harvest, Processing, Packaging, Compliance, and Operations teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory throughout all post-harvest stages.

Track product movement from harvest through finished inventory.

Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and variances.
-
Ensure all inventory locations remain organized and accurate.
METRC & Compliance
-
Complete METRC transactions for harvested material, transfers, conversions, adjustments, waste, and finished inventory.

Ensure inventory documentation complies with CRA regulations and company SOPs.
-
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
-
Verify inventory accuracy before transfers to production or retail.
Post-Harvest Operations

Monitor inventory through drying, curing, bucking, trimming, and packaging.

Coordinate inventory transfers between departments.

Verify production weights and documentation.
-
Support inventory reconciliation following production activities.
Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.

Assist leadership with inventory reconciliation and forecasting.

Monitor inventory trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

Ensure complete documentation for all inventory transactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Cultivation, Processing, Packaging, Compliance, and Operations.

Assist with inventory process improvements.

Support company initiatives focused on compliance and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Required
-
2+ years of inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or compliance experience.
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
-
Excellent attention to detail.
-
Experience using Microsoft Excel.
-
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred
-
Cannabis processing or post-harvest experience.
-
METRC experience.
-
Inventory auditing experience.
-
Manufacturing or food production background.

ERP or inventory management software experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move up to 60 pounds regularly throughout scheduled shifts.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while performing daily cultivation tasks.

Comfortable working in hot, humid grow environments with temperatures ranging from approximately 75–85°F and humidity levels between 60–70%.

Ability to work under high-intensity grow lighting for extended periods of time.

Must possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform detailed tasks such as trimming, transplanting, cloning, pruning, and plant maintenance.

Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work throughout the workday while maintaining consistency and quality standards.

Ability to operate cultivation tools, irrigation equipment, sprayers, trimming equipment, and other facility systems safely and effectively.

Comfortable working around cannabis plants, fertilizers, organic pesticides, soil, growing media, dust, and strong plant odors.

Ability to maintain focus, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced cultivation environment with strict compliance requirements.

Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented cultivation setting.

Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures precisely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Comfortable moving throughout multiple grow rooms and cultivation areas during the course of a shift.

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding plant health, equipment issues, and operational needs.
