Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise plumbing layouts
- Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues and verify system integrity
- Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages efficiently
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and personnel to job sites
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to complete tasks accurately
- Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects or new builds, ensuring plumbing components meet all safety standards and building codes
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed while maintaining safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance purposes
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed clearly and addressing client questions professionally
Skills
- Construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings
- Proficiency in welding techniques for pipe joining and repairs
- Knowledge of drain cleaning methods and the use of related equipment
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations governing plumbing systems
- Mechanical knowledge related to water systems, HVAC integration, pipe threading, and system maintenance
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installation or repair work
- Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in construction plumbing practices
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and schematics interpretation
- Carpentry skills useful for remodeling or assembly tasks involving plumbing components
- Heavy lifting capability with adherence to safety standards during material handling
- Commercial driving skills for operating company vehicles safely across job sites
- Handyman experience or general remodeling background beneficial for versatile project support
