American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of General IR experience for a 13-week contract at a tertiary hospital in Florence, SC.

Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a tertiary hospital
-
Average daily caseload of 4 cases per tech
-
General IR cases; Neuro IR experience is a plus
-
5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
-
On-call required on a rotating basis shared with two other techs
-
Every third weekend is required
-
No floating required
-
Charting via Epic
-
Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
-
General IR experience required; Neuro IR experience preferred
-
Active BLS (AHA), ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications required
-
A personal radiation monitoring badge is required and must be provided by the traveler's agency
-
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
-
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

License required if applicable

AHA-issued certifications only accepted

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility in this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on facility needs

Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane activity occurs in August and September

OR scrubs are provided by the facility
