Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician independently performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment while minimizing production downtime.
Essential Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
- Install, replace, and align motors, pumps, conveyors, and gearboxes.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install and replace VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and control components.
- Support PLC troubleshooting and identify faults within automated systems.
- Coordinate with operations personnel to prioritize equipment repairs.
- Maintain detailed maintenance documentation.
- Mentor and assist other Maintenance Technician personnel.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical degree or certifications preferred.
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial controls.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety regulations.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
