Luxor Staffing is hiring Grinding Operators paying $16.00 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
- 5 am to 3:30 pm (Must be willing to work overtime)
Responsibilities
- Operate grinding machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Perform setup and adjustments on grinding equipment as needed.
- Utilize tools such as calipers and gauges to measure dimensions and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs.
- Fabricate components using various techniques including electrical discharge machining, laser cutting, and plasma cutting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in machining or grinding roles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Familiarity with tooling and the operation of cranes is a plus.
- Experience with electrical discharge machining, laser cutting, or plasma cutting is advantageous.
