Pay Rate: $30- $35/hr
Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Shift Availability: Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
We're hiring a Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician in Fair Lawn, NJ! This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals looking to grow their career in a manufacturing environment.
Organize preventive maintenance activities and assist with scheduling work.
Serve as backup to the Group Leader, including overtime management.
Document preventive maintenance activities accurately.
Repair vacuum systems, process gas systems, gas cabinets, and perform leak checks.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues safely and efficiently.
Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Promote a safe, healthy, and quality-focused work environment.
Participate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance or manufacturing experience.
Mechanically inclined with experience using power tools and light machining equipment.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
