Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dough mixers, ovens, pizza cutters, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Ensure adherence to recipe standards and presentation guidelines for all pizza orders
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizza ideas to enhance customer offerings
- Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining quality and speed
- Support food handling practices that promote safety, freshness, and quality in every pizza crafted
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or culinary environments is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food industry safety standards
- Experience with food safety management and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Knowledge of cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation is a plus
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely under pressure
- Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in recipe adherence and presentation
- Background in dietary department or catering experience is advantageous but not required
- Enthusiasm for teamwork, fast-paced environments, and delivering exceptional customer service
