Assist with ensuring food prep areas are clean and hygienic.
Washes dishes and utensils and stores them properly.
Sort, store and put out ingredients appropriately.
Wash, peel, cut food items for cooking.
Prepares customer orders by making plates to proportion.
Keeps kitchen surrounding clean.
Must have at least 6 months working in the restaurant industry. Must have reliable transportation. Be able to work under pressure and corporate with different peoples of different cultures. Assist with cooking duties and kitchen inventory. Must have good communication skills, great and positive attitude and be able to problem solve effectively. Must be honest, reliable and flexible with schedule. Knowledge of Caribbean cuisine and ingredients is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand on feet for extended periods. Must be able to speak and understand the English language. Must be available to work between the hours of 10 am and 9pm for at least four days per week and have weekend availability.
