Line Cook

This role involves preparing and cooking menu items with a focus on quality, safety, and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers
Duties
- Station Setup: Check station inventory, stock necessary ingredients, and prepare cooking/serving tools before the shift.
- Food Preparation: Chop vegetables, slice meats, prepare seasonings, and mix sauces as directed by the prep list.
- Recipe Execution: Cook menu items via grilling, frying, sautéing, or baking to exact recipe specifications.
- Orders & Timing: Complete entrées efficiently to meet ticket times and ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized work area throughout the shift, complying with all health and safety codes.
- End of Shift: Clean cooking surfaces, wash serving and cooking utensils, store leftovers properly using FIFO rotation, and help with end-of-day inventory.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant or high-volume food service setting. Familiarity with the food industry and restaurant operations is preferred.
- Certification: Current Food Handler certification or Food Manager Certification .
- Skills: Strong knife skills, high attention to detail, and knowledge of various cooking methods.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs., and work in a hot, fast-past environment.
- Familiarity with the food industry, culinary techniques, and restaurant operations is preferred.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
