Job Summary
AXIOS Industrial Solutions is seeking experienced Offshore Pipeline Welders for assignment aboard a pipeline barge. Candidates must have proven pipeline welding experience and be proficient in downhill welding using E8010 electrodes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipeline Welder
- Must be proficient in burning 8010 rods downhill
- Experience working in pipeline construction and/or pipeline barge operations
- Must successfully pass a weld test
- Welds must pass required X-ray (RT) and visual inspection
- Must have O/S Certifications (TWIC, HUET, Rig Pass/SafeGulf, etc.)
- Ability to consistently produce code-quality welds
- Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work in a marine/pipeline environment
Experience is required. This is not an entry-level welding position. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability during testing.
Pay: Up to $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 84.0 per week
License/Certification:
- TWIC (Required)
- Water Survival w/ HUET and Swing Rope (Required)
- Rig Pass or SafeGulf (Required)
