Duties
- Assist the Valet Manager in overseeing daily parking operations, ensuring timely and safe vehicle handling for guests.
- Support valet staff in parking, retrieving, and delivering vehicles, including standard passenger cars and delivery trucks.
- Coordinate outdoor work activities, including heavy lifting of equipment or luggage, to maintain efficient workflow.
- Process cash transactions accurately for parking fees, tips, or other services, utilizing retail math and cashiering skills.
- Communicate clearly with guests to provide excellent guest services, address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during outdoor work and vehicle operation, including manual transmission driving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of parking areas, assisting with outdoor inspections and yard audits as needed.
Skills
- Strong guest services and customer service skills to create positive interactions with diverse clientele.
- Previous experience in hospitality or dealership environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles confidently, including manual transmission models.
- Proven driving experience with a valid license; delivery driver experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests.
- Bilingual abilities are beneficial for serving a diverse customer base.
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures and cash handling practices enhances performance in this role.
