Medical Assistant, Certified
Seeking certified medical assistant for full time position for top ranked patient focused- dermatology practice in our Cumming location. Primary responsibilities include triaging all calls by existing patients for urgency for an appointment, answering pertinent prescription questions, discussing lab and test results, detailing patient questions and sending to the provider, documenting all patient related care in EHR, suture removal, injections, and possibly blood draw. Monitoring patient portal messages , and assisting the prescription team as needed. This position works in a phone Triage team with 2 other people in our other offices. **Please note the first month of training will be in the Roswell office with another member of the Triage team**
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Patient oriented, dependable, eagerness to learn
- Dermatology experience preferred
- EHR experience with EMA preferred
- Skilled in Phlebotomy is a plus.
