Job TItle: Lead AEM Engineer – E‑Commerce
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Onsite, 3–4 days/week)
Type: 6‑month contract‑to‑hire
Overview:
Seeking a senior, hands‑on Lead Engineer to architect and deliver large‑scale e‑commerce platforms. This role combines technical leadership with active development across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java/Spring Boot, and modern front‑end frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, and optimization of customer‑facing commerce platforms.
- Architect and enhance core e‑commerce capabilities (catalog, checkout, payments, OMS).
- Drive integrations across CRM, booking engines, logistics, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and APIs.
- Remain hands‑on with architecture and development (React front end, modern APIs).
Qualifications:
- 7+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership.
- 3+ years Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Strong Java/Spring Boot expertise.
- Experience with microservices, SPAs, event‑driven and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, Kiro AI, Copilot).
