Position Summary
The Property Environmental Services Technician is a key role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and basic functionality of property facilities to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff. This position supports daily upkeep, performs routine cleaning, assists in basic maintenance tasks, and ensures that properties align with Beacon 360’s mission of operational excellence and its People First culture.
This role works closely with Maintenance Supervisors, Lead Technicians, and Property Managers to uphold service standards, complete assigned tasks, and support broader maintenance operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of common areas, grounds, and shared facilities to ensure a clean and pleasant living environment.
- Assist maintenance team with basic tasks including trash removal, light bulb replacement, and minor repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and report safety or cleanliness issues across the property.
- Support turnover preparation by cleaning units, removing debris, and helping prepare spaces for new residents.
- Maintain supplies, tools, and cleaning equipment; ensure inventory is stocked and organized.
- Assist with snow removal, landscaping upkeep, and seasonal property tasks as directed.
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE when handling cleaning chemicals or performing physical tasks.
- Respond to work orders and staff requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Support emergency response procedures, including participation in on-call rotations as needed.
- Collaborate with site staff to ensure maintenance and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

- Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA guidelines (preferred)
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and operating cleaning equipment
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or property maintenance support roles
- Prior experience in a residential, commercial, or hospitality setting strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on site needs
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities
- May assist or receive direction from Lead Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors
Pay: $17.00 per hour
