Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings preferred. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and plating assistance
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and storage areas to promote a hygienic environment
- Help with food handling procedures in accordance with safety regulations
- Support catering events or banquet setups by providing necessary dishware and cleaning support
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as bussing, food preparation, and cleaning practices is advantageous
