Position : Propulsion Engineer (II - III)
Location : Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA (Can be Hybrid or remote but if hired on directly they would need to start working onsite)
Duration : 6-12 Months
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
· 2+ years of professional experience (for level 2)
· 5+ years of professional experience (for level 3)
· Demonstrated experience with propulsion hardware; rocket engines, thrusters, valves, pumps, tanks, orifices, etc.
· Propulsion test experience; hot-fire testing, cold flow, vehicle-level propulsion checkouts, and propellant loading.
· Fluid system design and analysis including pressurization system sizing, water hammer analysis, pressure budgets, FMECAs, and FDIR architecture.
· Demonstrated ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with suppliers and customers.
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
