To provide Service/Maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
Accu-Rite hires detail-oriented HVAC technicians to maintain and repair our customers’ HVAC systems. The HVAC service/maintenance technician will assist with repairing and calibrating systems, and replacing various components such as transformers, capacitors and compressors.
Work start and end time: 7am - 4pm Monday through Friday. (Weekends, Overtime & Evenings as needed)

Traveling to job sites and working closely with dispatch team to keep customers informed throughout the process
- This position will service and sell residential and commercial heating and cooling products as well as indoor air quality products and maintenance/service agreements
- You will diagnose problems, present estimated costs to customers, and offer other solutions. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and representing Accu-Rite in the most positive and professional way will be your top priority. Service Technicians will be patient, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Inspect and diagnose HVAC systems for performance and safety
- Perform installation of HVAC related parts and equipment following manufacturer’s specifications
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
- Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Ensure all checklists, job details, invoices and other required paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out and where required entered into our Service Titan system properly
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is completed correctly the first time
- Strong teamwork, verbal, and written skills, and possess the ability to work well with others
- Build accurate repair quotes
- Educate customers on HVAC parts and products when necessary
- Perform routine maintenance
- Always exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to do it right the first time

- EPA 608 Certified
- Nate Certified, preferred
- Hard-working and motivated
Qualifications needed for this position:

5+ years of experience
- EPA and NATE certification or acquire NATE certification within 6 months of employment
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagram and blueprints
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experienced making repair and replacement decisions
- Advanced customer service skills - must be personable & possess good customer relation skills
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
- Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
- Must be willing to help with installs if needed
- Knowledgeable of Service Titan and disciplined in its use
