Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Development & Interior Design Assistant to join our innovative team. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing design concepts for residential interior projects using 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit.
- Prepare detailed construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction details using AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Create high-quality renderings and presentations utilizing Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Support project management tasks by tracking project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local building code compliance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into project revisions.
- Assist in managing renovation, remodeling, and lighting sales projects from inception through installation, including site visits and client communication.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), and Bluebeam for drafting and presentation purposes.
- Strong skills in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering to visualize concepts clearly.
- Experience with building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project coordination.
- Knowledge of construction detail documentation, building code analysis, and building code compliance standards.
- Familiarity with interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, and space planning for residential projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent client communication skills to present ideas confidently and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Background in construction or renovation projects with experience in managing design projects from concept to completion is preferred.
- Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or other creative tools is a plus.
