Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Quick Pick Tow Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for responding to dispatch calls to pick up disabled, damaged, or customer vehicles and transport them safely to our collision center, repair facilities, or other designated locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and takes pride in providing prompt, professional service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a light-duty tow truck or wheel lift
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls for vehicle pickups and deliveries
- Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate trip logs and required paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and shop personnel
- Provide courteous, professional customer service at every pickup and delivery
- Keep the tow truck clean, fueled, and in good operating condition
- Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Tow truck or wheel lift experience required, but training is available for the right candidate.
- Ability to safely load and secure vehicles
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
