Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and optimize inventory processes within our operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing warehouse distribution, procurement, and inventory management systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This position offers an opportunity to utilize advanced data analytics, process improvement strategies, and supply chain management expertise to support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records for Smart Digital security components and SentryPODS surveillance units, including parts, equipment, and finished products.
- Perform regular cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends, project pipelines, and installation schedules to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Research, evaluate, and establish terms with vendors, including pricing, payment conditions, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Place orders with vendors for products, materials, and supplies while negotiating to achieve the best possible terms and cost efficiency.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and established vendor terms.
- Collaborate with warehouse, installation, sales, and management teams to ensure timely inventory availability for customer projects.
- Maintain and update inventory management software/ERP systems with real-time data on stock levels, transactions, and vendor information.
- Identify process improvements to optimize inventory turnover, reduce costs, and minimize obsolescence or waste.
- Generate reports on inventory status, procurement activities, vendor performance, and cost savings for leadership review.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
