Job Overview
Power Ride LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Airport Rental Car Cleaner / Detailer to join our growing team. In this role, you will prepare rental vehicles for the next customer by ensuring each vehicle is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and ready for delivery.
The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, is organized, reliable, and pays close attention to detail. This position plays an important role in creating a positive customer experience by ensuring every vehicle is clean, well-presented, and accurately documented before each rental.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards
- Vacuum carpets, seats, floor mats, trunk areas, and cargo spaces
- Wipe and sanitize dashboards, center consoles, door panels, steering wheels, and other high-touch surfaces
- Clean all interior and exterior windows and mirrors
- Remove trash and personal belongings left behind by previous customers
- Check and record vehicle mileage and fuel level before and after service
- Inspect vehicles for new dents, scratches, cracked glass, tire damage, warning lights, or other visible issues, and report any findings immediately
- Take clear photos of vehicle condition when required
- Verify that keys, registration, and required vehicle items are present
- Safely move vehicles within designated parking areas when needed
- Restock basic vehicle supplies as required
- Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and airport operating guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience cleaning or detailing vehicles is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice new vehicle damage
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Basic smartphone skills for documenting mileage, fuel levels, inspections, and vehicle photos
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rental car operations, automotive detailing, or vehicle cleaning
- Experience conducting vehicle condition inspections
- Familiarity with airport vehicle operations is a plus
