This contract position offers a dynamic environment where you’ll work both onsite and virtually (3 days onsite, 2 days remote each week), providing critical psychological support and assessments for a diverse and evolving caseload.
What you'll bring:
- Active School Psychologist certification for South Carolina (SC Psych)
- Proven experience in school-based psychological services or assessments
- Thorough understanding of elementary-level academic, emotional, and behavioral development
- Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing student needs and flexible work environments
Your key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support students’ academic and behavioral success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and resource recommendations as needed
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in line with district/state requirements
- Provide consultative services to school staff to improve outcomes for students
- Adapt services for a blended onsite/virtual work model, utilizing digital tools for remote engagement
This role runs through May 28, 2027 and features a 37.5-hour workweek, serving elementary-aged students in a supportive school community.
