ssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor teams across the project lifecycle.
- Manage customer work orders across multiple work streams from initiation to completion to billing.
- Prepare, manage, and report on project pipeline and backlog.
- Ensure field construction aligns with customer priorities and deadlines.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Review/manage project schedules and constraints, providing input to support customer objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Serve as the primary client contact for coordination, strategic planning, scope management, and compliance.
- Develop and implement project policies, procedures, control systems, and execution plans.
- Ensure deliverables and services meet client expectations.
- Provide regular updates on progress, costs, schedules, procurement, safety, environmental concerns, design issues, and billing to leadership.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate when necessary to minimize delays.
- Manage change orders effectively.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including but not limited to IT-related enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Proven leadership with the ability to influence across disciplines.
- Highly organized, quick learner, and capable of designing efficient workflows.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license (required for site visits).
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the United States.
Education, Experience, and Credentials
- 10+ years of relevant experience or a university degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
