Paoli Vetcare is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team!
As the first and last person our clients interact with, our reception team plays a critical role in creating an exceptional experience for both pets and their people. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who fits in with our hospital culture that emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and compassion.
About the role & key responsibilities:
This administrative role offers a mix of 10-hour shifts and 5.5-hour shifts, with rotating shorter Saturday morning shifts. Enjoy the benefit of no Saturday evening, Sunday, or holiday shifts! We offer a competitive wage of $16 to $20 per hour, based on experience. Below are some key responsibilities.
- Engage with clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
- Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills

- Handle incoming calls with accuracy, providing clients with the information they need.
- Respond promptly to emails and text messages throughout the day.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with clients as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient visits and treatments.
- Process payments for services smoothly and securely.
- Support veterinarians with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
