Qualifications & Experience
- Active Texas SLPA licensure required
- Previous experience in school-based speech-language support is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively organize, document, and manage a diverse school-based caseload
- Fingerprints and drug screening required prior to start date
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language services according to IEPs at two elementary, one middle, and one high school
- Coordinate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other support staff
- Track student progress, maintain records, and assist in progress reporting
- Implement therapy plans and adapt materials to meet individual student needs
- Foster an encouraging and supportive environment for students’ growth
This contract will run from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and consists of 37.5 hours weekly—providing you with a stable, full-time schedule throughout the school year. You’ll be assigned to specific campuses each day, serving students consistently without daily travel between schools.
