Automation Technician Needed
Pay: $33–$38/hr + $1/hr shift differential
Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday
Skillset Group is looking for an experienced Automation Technician to support production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in a GMP/FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated and electrical production equipment.
- Work with 480V, AC/DC controls, VFDs, and PLCs (Allen-Bradley).
- Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs, servos, vision systems, printers, motors, robots, and other automated equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using a CMMS system.
- Support production and respond to equipment issues as needed.
- Operate lifts and follow all safety and GMP requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation, controls, electrical maintenance, or production equipment maintenance.
- Advanced electrical and automation troubleshooting experience is required.
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and machine controls.
- Computer savvy and comfortable working with CMMS systems.
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
