Overview
Our private family medicine practice has an immediate opening for a fulltime Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, or RMA). Duties
- Perform patient intake by accurately taking medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, providing comfort and understanding of the process.
- Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) procedures in accordance with safety protocols.
- Support physicians with medical documentation and managing medical records to ensure precise recordkeeping.
- Perform administrative responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, referrals and prior authorizations, and maintaining clinic supplies.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program
- Prior experience in medical office clinical and non-clinical duties is highly preferred.
- Must be a team-player.
- Ability to confidently perform phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to support accurate documentation and patient care.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and professionalism across all interactions.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
