We are seeking a seasoned Electro‑Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. This role is hands-on, field‑focused, and critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our plant’s equipment and production systems. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting instincts, and a proactive approach to maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electro‑mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across plant equipment and field systems.
- Diagnose complex equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of new machinery, control systems, and automation components.
- Conduct field inspections, performance testing, and reliability assessments of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, safety, and engineering teams to optimize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
- Develop and update technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all field and plant activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electro‑Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in electro‑mechanical engineering within a manufacturing, industrial, or plant operations environment.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards, lockout/tagout, and equipment risk assessments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability engineering practices.
- Certifications in industrial safety, automation, or maintenance technologies.
