The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in driving operational excellence by designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes that increase efficiency, improve product quality, and support safe, reliable production. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges, introduce new processes and equipment, reduce waste, and continuously enhance performance across the production floor. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys blending technical problem-solving with process improvement and has a passion for building robust, scalable manufacturing systems.
The Manufacturing Engineer utilizes Lean Manufacturing principles, data analysis, and engineering best practices to reduce waste, improve product quality, increase throughput, and support new product introductions.

We are adding a Manufacturing Engineer to our growing team!
- Designs, develops, documents, and improves manufacturing processes.
- Analyzes production workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced costs.
- Leads Lean Manufacturing initiatives including waste reduction, standard work, 5S, visual management, and continuous improvement.
- Establishes and maintains manufacturing standards and work instructions.
- Optimizes plant layout, material flow and workstation ergonomics.
- Troubleshoots manufacturing issues related to equipment, tooling, materials and processes.
- Collaborates with manufacturing and quality teams to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Supports process capability studies and statistical process control.
- Specifies, evaluates, and implements new manufacturing equipment.
- Develop equipment requirements and assists with capital projects.
- Coordinates equipment installations and production startup.
- Works with Maintenance team to improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance program.
- Supports new product launches from concept through production.
- Develops manufacturing processes for new products.
- Participates in Design for Manufacturability reviews.
- Analyzes manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Must Haves
- Associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or other related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in manufacturing process design and/or optimization required.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in screen-printing or related industry preferred.
- Experience in time studies, capacity analyses, and cost-benefit evaluations for manufacturing systems.
- Experience integrating automation systems and processes into production environments.
- Experience evaluating equipment vendors and technology for compatibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
