THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
As the first point of contact, you set the tone for the entire patient experience. Your role combines administrative excellence with hands-on clinical support:
- Patient Advocacy: Greet and assist patients via phone, email, live chat, and in person.
- Benefit Coordination: Verify vision insurance and help patients understand their coverage.
- Clinical Support: Learn to use state-of-the-art optometric equipment to conduct preliminary vision tests.
- Financial Integrity: Process invoices and accept payments with accuracy and professionalism.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- The Personality: A professional, friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- The Skillset: Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- The Detail: High attention to detail, especially regarding patient records and billing.
- The Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Previous healthcare or optometry experience is a plus (and may increase starting pay).
POSITION DETAILS
- Pay Range: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time; weekend availability preferred
- Location: In-person
