What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming patients with a warm intake experience — vital signs, medication and allergy review, screening questionnaires, and EHR documentation
- Preparing patients for exams based on their appointment needs
- Administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, including allergy injections
- Assisting with skin prick testing and pulmonary function testing (spirometry)
- Answering patient calls, helping with scheduling, and supporting check-in/check-out
- Obtaining prior authorizations and referrals as needed
- Working side-by-side with our physician in a supportive, team-first environment
- Office cleaning and help with office organization
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program
- Current BLS certification — or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire (we've got you covered — it's paid by us!)
- Prior clinic experience and comfort with administering injections
- A detail-oriented, organized communicator who's great with computers and even better with people
