Position Overview: Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative production team. This role is pivotal in driving process improvements, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining safety standards in our sheet metal fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering, with hands-on experience in sheet metal processes and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize sheet metal fabrication processes to improve efficiency, reduce material waste, and enhance product quality.
- Program and operate CNC machines and CAM software to support precision sheet metal production.
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the fabrication of components using laser cutting, punching, bending, and welding techniques.
- Integrate vision inspection systems and other quality control tools to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Partner with assembly and production teams to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sheet metal manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CAM programming and CNC machining.
- Familiarity with robotics and automation, including basic robot programming.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,742.00 - $71,126.00 per year
