Compensation: $140,000 – $175,000 DOE + Full Benefits Package

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
Our client, a well-established and growing product manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to serve as a strategic business partner and lead all aspects of the human resources function. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and is passionate about building strong workplace culture, developing talent pipelines, and aligning HR strategy with business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership and department heads on all people-related matters
- Lead and manage the full HR function, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits
- Design and implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives that support organizational growth and operational excellence
- Drive workforce planning and talent development strategies to build bench strength and support succession planning
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations, including OSHA and manufacturing-specific requirements
- Manage employee relations matters; conduct investigations and resolve workplace issues with fairness and consistency
- Oversee benefits administration and open enrollment processes; evaluate and recommend plan design improvements
- Champion employee engagement and retention initiatives; develop programs to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Partner with operations and plant management to support a safe and productive work environment
- Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members to build a high-performing HR department
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights and reporting to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA a plus
- 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise across the full HR generalist spectrum, including employee relations, compliance, talent management, and total rewards
- Proven track record of building and leading HR teams and implementing scalable HR infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance (federal and NH/MA state)
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate HR strategy into measurable operational results
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $140,000 – $175,000, dependent upon experience
- Performance-based bonus eligibility
