Special Education Teacher (K–5 Charter School)
iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Special Education Teacher for our client in K–12 Education (Charter School). This is a 2026–2027 School Year Contract role, working in Nashville, TN, offering a pay rate of $47/hr.
- Compensation: $47.00/hr starting (based on experience; range approx. $47.25–$55.75/hr)

- Duration: 2026–2027 School Year (Start: 08/10/2026 • End: 05/26/2027)
- Location: Nashville, TN 37228
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 settings.
- Serve as a Special Education Case Manager, including IEP development and compliance documentation.
- Create, implement, and monitor 504 Plans, academic intervention plans, and student support schedules.
- Analyze student achievement data and adjust instruction/interventions to close learning gaps.
- Collaborate with school leaders and teammates on curriculum planning and rigorous assessments.
- Facilitate support team meetings and help develop plans for students needing additional behavioral support.
- Maintain strong communication with students, families, and staff to drive student success.
- Participate in professional development, school events, and other required campus activities.
- Education (Required): Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred).
- Certification (Required): Active Tennessee Special Education teaching certification (K–5 or K–12).
- Licensure Note (Must-have): Fully certified only (no temporary/provisional licenses).
- Experience (Preferred): 1+ year supporting students with diverse disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, autism, developmental delays).
- Strong skills in data-driven instruction, collaboration, and communication.
