We are seeking dedicated and passionate Substitute Teachers to join our educational team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will step into the classroom to provide continuity in instruction, ensuring that students remain engaged and supported in their learning journey.
Duties
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their participation and engagement in lessons.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to handle various situations that may arise during class time.
- Assist in the development and execution of lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their educational goals.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, faithfully attending a local church.
- DCF 40 hours/CDA
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within the classroom setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with students and staff.
- A passion for Christian education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development.
