The Coordinator is responsible for the successful operation of CAI’s Bridge Program, including the Bridge to College Course, workforce training initiatives, and additional career readiness programming. The Coordinator will guide adult learners to enhanced educational and career opportunities and will oversee all facets of the CAI Bridge Program, from recruitment, intake, orientation, assessment, retention, student achievement, data entry, data analysis, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes. The Coordinator will also connect participants with various support services, ensuring student retention, achievement, and success.
This position requires the collection and maintenance of confidential data using designed tracking and monitoring systems. Cultural sensitivity, highly organized, time management, comprehensive digital literacy skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. An Associate’s Degree is required. A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree is preferred in a related field, plus two years’ experience working with adult learners. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Candidates with a background in Education, Workforce Training, Career Navigation, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology are encouraged to apply. A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered. The position is 20 hours per week/41 weeks per year. Some weeks may require additional paid hours for staff meetings, professional development, and co-planning sessions. Must be available to work nights as some evening hours are required. Salary for the position is $34.28/hour.
