Toyota World of Clinton is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Warranty Administrator, where you'll be the vital link ensuring smooth processing and management of vehicle warranty claims. Duties
- Manage and process all warranty claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submission.
- Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off
- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims
- Review repair orders and service documentation to verify warranty eligibility and compliance with manufacturer policies.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and manufacturers to resolve claim discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain detailed records of warranty transactions, claim statuses, and related correspondence for audit purposes.
- Assist customers with warranty inquiries, providing clear explanations and guidance on coverage details.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure proper documentation for warranty parts and reimbursements.
- Stay updated on manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and product updates to ensure compliance.
Skills
- CDK DMS system experience a plus
- Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge required
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to accurately handle multiple claims simultaneously.
- Excellent communication abilities for liaising with technicians, manufacturers, and customers confidently.
- Proficiency in automotive software systems used for warranty processing and record keeping.
- Ability to interpret repair orders, technical documents, and warranty policies clearly.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving claim issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts identification, and manufacturer warranty guidelines is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
