Process Technician
**Location: **Bedford, OH
**Shifts Available: **2nd & 3rd Shift
**Pay: **$30 - $37p/h
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced **Process Technician **to join a plastic injection molding operation. This role is responsible for setting up and optimizing molding processes, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring machines are running safely and efficiently to produce quality parts.
You'll work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve uptime, reduce scrap, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and start plastic injection molding presses and related equipment.
- Develop, adjust, and optimize molding processes to achieve quality and production targets.
- Troubleshoot molding, machine, and quality issues.
- Perform mold changes, new mold trials, and process validation.
- Monitor production and make process adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to minimise downtime.
- Train and support machine operators on standard processes.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- **3+ years **of plastic injection molding process technician experience.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding machines, mold setup, and process optimization.
- Experience troubleshooting molding defects and production issues.
- Ability to read process documentation and follow production standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to**50 lbs **and stand for extended periods.
