Field Engineer
Location: Ingleside, TX

Position Summary
Eratex Energy Services is seeking a Field Engineer to support industrial construction projects through planning, coordination, documentation, and communication between the office and the jobsite. This position is primarily office-based and involves assisting project management with engineering support, scheduling, reporting, and project documentation, with occasional site visits as needed.
Responsibilities
-Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
-Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
-Prepare and maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and reports.
-Track project progress, labor hours, and material usage.
-Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
-Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is current.
-Assist with procurement, estimating, and project closeout activities.
-Monitor project schedules and communicate updates to the project team.
-Conduct occasional field visits to verify progress and gather project information.
-Support project execution while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
-3–5 years of experience in industrial construction, engineering, or project coordination.
-Experience supporting LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial construction projects preferred.
-Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
-Experience with project management software is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
