WLR Trucking is looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our growing team for the upcoming construction season. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating heavy equipment, and being part of a dependable crew, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Details
- Seasonal Position: April – November (weather permitting)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays: As needed
- Weekly Pay
- Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
What You'll Do
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport gravel, sand, dirt, and other materials to and from job sites.
- Load and unload materials while ensuring proper weight distribution and safety procedures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Follow designated routes and comply with all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and team members.
- Report maintenance concerns and help keep equipment in top working condition.
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy truck driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
