New Point Life Services is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Evening Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, helping them build independence, participate in their communities, and enjoy meaningful daily lives.

Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Rotating long and short weeks with consistent scheduling.

Starting pay from $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications

As an Evening DSP, you'll help individuals thrive both at home and in the community by providing compassionate, person-centered support.
Support individuals according to their Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP)
Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
Encourage independence with daily living skills
Transport individuals safely to community activities and appointments
Plan and participate in meaningful recreational and community outings
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
Administer medications following agency policies
Complete electronic documentation and required reports
Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment
Build positive relationships that promote confidence, dignity, and choice
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
One year of experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
Active Virginia CNA, NA, or PCA certification

Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, walk, push, and pull throughout the shift
