Prep Cook (Full-Time)
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Night Shift (1-hour unpaid lunch)
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and products that will be distributed to multiple company locations. Accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential, as every item prepared directly impacts the quality our customers receive.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, follows recipes and procedures carefully, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, highly trainable, and interested in growing with our company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food products according to company recipes and standards.
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety procedures with precision.
- Ensure all products are prepared accurately and consistently.
- Package, label, and organize products for distribution to multiple store locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and prep area.
- Monitor product quality and report any concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory, ingredient preparation, and stock rotation.
- Receive and organize deliveries as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Perform other food production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
- Ability to follow recipes and written instructions with accuracy.
- Highly trainable and open to feedback.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to minimizing errors.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid California Food Handler Card is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
