Responsibilities

- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and assisting with product replenishment
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Engage customers in retail sales conversations, offering recommendations based on their needs and preferences
Requirements
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, balancing registers, and performing retail math calculations
- Experience with POS systems or familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are beneficial for supporting team initiatives and product demos
