American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Clinic position in a high-volume GI physician office setting, with a primarily clerical role requiring a FL or compact RN license.

Outpatient GI medical office clinic setting
-
Primarily clerical responsibilities with occasional patient triage
-
Daily tasks include processing procedure orders, relaying results, sending prescriptions to pharmacy, and obtaining prior authorizations
-
8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week

No floating required

No charge nurse responsibilities

13-week assignment

Active FL RN license or compact RN license accepted

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting

At least 2 years of full-time experience in a specialized unit within the last 2 years
-
Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments in the past 12 months in a full-time acute care setting

Current EMR experience required

Physician office experience preferred but not required
-
Two professional references required from the last two places of employment, covering the last year, from a leadership role (Nurse Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse)

7-year employment history required, with explanations for any gaps greater than 30 days

Current skills checklist required (valid within the past year)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
