The Toddler Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing intervention, planning, developing, and implementing center-based services that support Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) for the children who attend Hattie Larlham’s toddler class at Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center.
Opening:
- Toddler Intervention Specialist
- Location: Columbus
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm during the school year
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Special Education or related field.
- Department of Developmental Disabilities Early Intervention Specialist certification or ability to obtain one within 60 days required.
- ODE Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (P-3) license preferred.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to implement teaching methods, behavior management, and curriculum and education programs designed for students with developmental disabilities.
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified or able to obtain it within 60 days.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s license with 5 points or less and proof of insurance required.
- Must be certified in Medication Administration or able to obtain it within 60 days.
