· Pay Rate : $29/hr on W2 (No Benefits)
· Hours: Full-time, two shifts available: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm or 8:15 am – 4:45 pm
· Orientation and Training: 5 days, including equipment allocation and system
access
Are you a friendly, motivated, and customer-oriented professional looking to make a difference in your community? The Economic Security Administration (ESA) is expanding its team of Welcome Lobby Ambassadors to support residents at our Service Centers across Washington, D.C.!
Why Join Us?
As a Welcome Lobby Ambassador, you'll be the face of the ESA, providing essential support to our District customers. Your role will include greeting residents, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the appropriate services. You will also assist in document intake, scanning, indexing, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide clear guidance to resolve their issues.
- Support Services: Assist customers with document pick-up/drop-off, provide demos for the District Direct Mobile App, and support online form completion.
- Back Office Tasks: Help with scanning, tagging documents, and maintaining up-to-date records to keep our processes running smoothly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with SSAs and leadership to improve Service Center operations and customer experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and communicate potential quality issues and collaborate with the team to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong active listening skills and ability to apply system processes to provide effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent computer skills for accurate data entry and customer interaction tracking.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, especially when handling sensitive information.
- Previous experience in customer service or data entry roles is a plus.
