About This Role
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient Toddler Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, be skilled at creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans, and foster a classroom environment that supports curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years.
What You'll Do

Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage developmental milestones in language, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and cognitive skills.

Foster a nurturing environment that promotes safety, respect, and positive relationships.

Maintain an organized, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.

Observe and document each child’s growth, development, and behavior.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to create a cohesive learning environment.

Supervise toddlers during play, meals, naptime, and transitions, ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.

Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a plus.

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patient, energetic, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children.
