The Intern Level 1 supports the organization by contributing to relevant projects while gaining practical experience and exposure to a professional work environment. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, develop key skills, and support various departmental functions. This is a temporary position designed to last 10 to 12 weeks during the summer and may be extended based on department needs.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Work with a mentor/supervisor to gain knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of information, reports, and presentation materials.
- Support administrative and technical functions as assigned.
- Participate in routine tasks such as database management, documentation updates, and data analysis.
- Shadow experienced staff across various functions to gain broader exposure.
- Provide support for customer service activities and general inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Flexible availability, including potential weekends and holidays.
